Due to abusive members, this site is now members only. You must login in order to post and to view the rest of the boards. All new members must be validated by me before they can access the forums. If you wish to join, please register and be patient while you wait to be validated.
If you are not validated, it's because I suspect that you're a troll or a previously banned member. If I have made that judgement in error, please email me and let me know how you've found us and why you would like to join. Thank you.
Rules and board information
These forums are the companion for SiriuslyLupin's stories, and for other Harry Potter-related discussions, including fanfiction, and anything else you would like to talk about.
Our motto: "If you really have no idea WHAT we are talking about, and you don't feel like going back and reading, just change the subject..." - Katie ;D
Posting: I am pretty easy-going about posts. If you want to go off topic in a thread, that's fine. I hate putting restrictions on discussions, so whichever way the posts are going, that's fine. Just please be respectful to all other members, and do not post anything offensive. This includes keeping the language and subject matter approporate for anyone to read, even children.
That being said, we go off-topic a lot. If you're looking for a nice, structured discussion on something, this most probably isn't the place for you
And please do not post excessively long strings of characters that stretch out the page. That's a pet peeve of mine
No flooding please. This involves making repeated, pointless posts in a row in the same thread, with no other posts in between yours. I do let double posting go to a degree, but more than a half a dozen or so posts in a row with no purpose is excessive. If you're making periodic updates about your stories, for example, that's fine.
Warnings will be issued if I feel they are warranted, and I don't like banning people, but I have and will again if I must.
Multiple accounts: This is not strictly a roleplaying site, but we do do some roleplaying here. If you would like to register for more than one account for such purposes, that's fine, but you must PM me first and let me know that you want to do so.
Avatars and signatures: You can put signature banners if you want in whatever size you like. Just please be reasonable about the size, and don't make it anything excessively huge. A good guideline - if it's stretching out the page and/or you can't see anything else on the screen except your sig, it's too big.
The maximum size for avatars is 100x100.
These must be uploaded to your own server, please do not hot-link from other sites!
Pictures in posts: If you are posting a picture in your post, please upload it to your own server. Do not directly link from other sites. If you don't/can't upload it to your own server, just posting a link is fine, but don't post the actually picture. Again, if it's large and stretching out the page, please just put the link instead.
Miscellaneous: Basically, have fun here! ;D
If you have any more questions or troubles concerning the boards of the site, please ask at/check at the Headmistress's Office, or please feel free to PM me. Also, if I'm not here and you need help with something, one of the heads of house or prefects might be able to help you ;D
Thank you
